About Me​​

I was born and raised on a farm near Sioux Center.  After college, I moved to the Southwest, where I was employed as a Registered Nurse and met my husband and native Minnesotan Scott Campbell.  Until a few years ago, we were at home in Phoenix AZ and then Irvine CA, where we raised our family.  Together we have enjoyed hosting guests at many occasions around our table.  Scott and I now reside at our cabin along the river near Hudson SD or at our home in Sioux Center. 

The greatest joys in our lives can be found in the warmth of relationships we experience with friends and family as we share a meal at the table.  I enjoy creating beautiful dining experiences where guests can linger over good food and conversation.  It is thus that byMarlene came to life, where it is my pleasure to share with others a wide range of table settings and accompaniments that create the table that combines …elegantly simple with …simply elegant.
